Chiropractic care consists of three distinct phases of care. Unfortunately, most people dont seek care until they are in pain.
The Initial Intensive phase helps relieve pain, decrease inflammation, and return to normal activities. Pain is the motivating factor for seeing a chiropractor in this initial period.
The next phase of care
is the Rehabilitative Corrective. This period aims at restoring proper motion
and alignment, correct adverse spinal pattern, and facilitate proper tissue
repair.
The third phase is the Maintenance/Wellness phase. Wellness care has the objectives of preventing arthritis, insure nerve flow resiliency, and health and longevity. Wellness is a way of life, an integrated enjoyable approach to living that emphasize the importance of achieving harmony in all parts of the person, mind, body, and spirit. The purpose of care is to restore the whole person and not to treat isolated symptoms or diseases.
It is important to get help when in pain, but why not prevent the discomfort in the first place. You brush your teeth daily to prevent tartar, cavity, and to ensure good breath. The teeth are there for chewing and for aesthetic reasons. You even seek a dentist every six months for check up. However, you can not brush your spine and your spine houses the central core of your existence. It is the foundation of your body and houses the regulator (your nervous system) of every cell, tissue, and organ system. Why not have a trained doctor help maintain it and optimize your health?|
